Im deploying a new process server soon and wondering if there are any bulletproof. For instance, our mfps surge protector shuts down the machine if it breaks threshold (125-115v). My office has some unique power issues now and then. When I was a sub-contractor at a large Defense contract company, we were replacing GX620s with the brand new Optiplexes in 2012-2013. Oh, I don't condone the use of pirated software, just want to make sure that's out there.ĭell has made some pretty solid Optiplex Desktops. Everything has evolved and made it that much harder. This isn't the 90s anymore where you could have used pirated software and not get caught. I use a 9020 as my daily driver.Īpparently, that is something that is difficult concept to some. Win10 runs pretty solid on Optiplex x020 though. Just gotta have a valid license for the software you're running. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Just remember, you will need to buy a Win 10 Pro license for it as the free upgrade to Win 10 has expired and you will not be in a good spot if you were to ever get audited.īig Green Man, just trying to avoid another argument with Windows licensing. I would look at upgrading the box to Windows 10 Pro if it's still in working order.

That being said, the fresh install of Win 7 Pro should have had a generic enough driver for the NIC to be recognized. Just pop in the serial number and it will pull everything for you. You should be able to pull the latest NIC driver from Dell's site.
